Through this event, Judi Marvel Charities was proud to support the following organizations
Friendship House
Funding from JMC will support transitional housing programs designed to help motivated homeless men and women re-establish themselves as independent, self-sufficient members of society. Particular emphasis is placed on re-uniting parents with their children.
Supporting Kidds
A donation to the Supporting Kidds capital campaign will help purchase and renovate a property in Hockessin, DE. Bereavement education and support programs will be provided through the newly established Center for Grieving Children and Their Families.
March of Dimes
Funding from JMC will help the Delaware Chapter establish a support program at Christiana Hospital for families with critically ill newborns. The program is designed to provide emotional and informational support during the child’s hospitalization and transition home.
St. Patrick’s Center
Through the Center’s Grocery Distribution Program, thousands of pounds of emergency food assistance will be provided annually to qualified participants. Special emphasis is placed on helping seniors and families with children.
